Manny, Diego, Sid, they are forced to leave the valley where they live because an ice on global warming is melting the mountain of ice that protects them, for it begins its journey to the place where they can saved.
On its way, comes up with many surprises, among them Ellie, a mammoth green eyes go crazy to Manny, his sisters lie Crash and Eddie, are making mischief Sid and Diego.
The road gets tough, the incompatibilities between species are evident coming to dissipate into two groups, but only so far in which one partner is in danger of drowning, then teamwork, friendship and love is much stronger.
